Epic Partners with MSU Denver

Epic Flight Academy announced its 5th college partnership, this one with Metropolitan State University – Denver. Epic is an FAA Part 141 pilot training provider to MSU Denver. This means Epic flight training can lead to a BS degree in Aviation & Aerospace Science with a Professional Flight Officer Concentration. It’s exciting to offer these opportunities to our students!

First FAA Pass at CVG Campus

Big news from Erlanger, Kentucky! Congratulations to Zander Benz on passing his exam to become an FAA-certified Airframe Mechanic! Zander is a member of the inaugural class at Epic’s Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport Aircraft Mechanic School and the first student to pass this FAA exam there. This makes it not only a big milestone for him, but also one for Epic! Next up: Powerplant!

Welcoming New Pilots

We welcomed new pilots to all campuses last month. They are at all levels of pilot training, from brand new students to those working on instructor ratings. Regardless of where you are in your flight training, we can take you to the next level!

Milestone at SGU Campus

Congratulations to Kevin Noall (left) on passing his CFI-I checkride in less than two weeks at our new St. George Regional Airport campus in Utah! Kevin is our first student to pass a checkride here, and he did it in record time! He’s pictured with his flight instructor, Tomas Ruales (right).

Mesa Airlines Career Opportunities

Representatives from Mesa Airlines stopped by the New Smyrna Beach, Florida campus to share career opportunities with Epic pilots. Thank you, Mesa!

Epic Alumni News

Congratulations to Epic graduate Lai Fai Wong who is now a First Officer flying the CRJ-550 for GoJet Airlines!

Michael Wilson is from Nigeria and graduated from Epic’s Aircraft Mechanic School in New Smyrna Beach. He is now an Aircraft Interior Technician at MHI RJ Aviation Group.

He shared: “I’m so grateful to all the instructors at Epic Flight Academy. They really poured out a lot from their experiences. Sometimes you really don’t know how much you know until it is required to perform a task. Thank you, Epic Flight Academy!”

Meet Epic graduate Daniel Toledo from Peru. He is a First Officer, typed in the A320 and flying for LATAM Airlines!

We also learned that Epic graduates Emma Grimes and Matt DeBurra are both Captains flying for United Airlines! We love hearing from our graduates, so please send us an update and let us know where in the world you are today!
