Epic Flight Academy and FEAM Aero are joining forces to build a new aircraft mechanic school in Erlanger, Kentucky. The school, which will be located on Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) ground, is expected to open in early 2024.

Epic and FEAM broke ground on the 32,290 sq. ft. building in April 2023. The building will consist of approximately 15,336 square feet of hangar/training area and 16,954 square feet of classrooms and finished office space. When completed, there will be a total of 10 classrooms, a library, break rooms, cafeteria, and 6 private offices. The parking lot will have 278 parking spaces for students and staff. The hangar will have direct access to CVG taxiways for easy aircraft access directly to the airport.

Erlanger, Kentucky is located approximately 10 miles southwest of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is the home of CVG Airport – Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, KY, which serves more than seven million passengers each year with multiple airlines. CVG is one of the fastest-growing cargo airports in the country and the 7th largest cargo airport in North America. What does a potential student need to know about an aircraft mechanic education?

Epic is currently accepting applications for students who can expect to enroll in early 2024. Basic requirements and details about the program, which takes 19 months to complete, are the same as our Part 147 program at our New Smyrna Beach campus. Tuition includes tools and books, and the majority of the training is hands-on.
