10th Annual Scholarship Winners

We are thrilled to introduce the winners of the 10th Annual Aviation Scholarship Awards. This year, Epic awarded a total of $145,000 to 17 high school students. Over the past 10 years, we have awarded a total of $590,000 to 52 high school students! The King Air Nation Foundation allocated $10,000 to Epic this year for an aircraft mechanic student and $5,000 for a flight student. We were pleased to make these awards on their behalf.
Brynn Witke of Wisconsin received the Captain Judy Rice Scholarship for her tenacity in achieving her aviation goals. This included making an emergency landing on a country road when the engine went out on her cross-country solo during her training at another flight school. No doubt Captain Judy would have been pleased with the judges’ decision.
We received more than 150 applications from 24 states this year, and judges were well impressed with the caliber of applicants. We remind all those who did not receive a scholarship that there are many more aviation scholarships available.

Grand Opening at Provo and Alpine Air Express Collaboration

Our Grand Opening in Provo, Utah last month was extra special because we announced the Alpine Air Express Pilot Partner Pathway. Alpine welcomes Epic pilots and aircraft mechanics, and we are excited by this new partnership. Shawn Reeves, Director of Operations at Alpine Air Express, said, “Alpine Air Express is proud to partner with Epic Flight Academy to provide graduates with a clear and reliable pathway into aviation careers.
