Where is Denison?
Denison, Texas is in northern Texas approximately 80 miles north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area near the Oklahoma border. How far is Epic’s Denison location from other major airports? Not far at all! Pilots fly to nearby Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) (60 nautical miles) and Oklahoma City Will Rogers International Airport (OKC) (113 nm). Epic flight students at all campuses train in brand new aircraft. The Cessna 172 features the G1000 glass cockpit and is the most popular and safe flight training aircraft. Training is conducted using safe, new aircraft to support efficient and effective instruction. Epic is known for its well maintained equipment, high pass rate, and highly skilled instructors.
Flight Simulator
Epic pilots experience training in flight simulators where they can practice numerous maneuvers safely. Flight simulators are an integral part of Epic’s training methodology and support strong FAA exam and checkride outcomes. Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATD) increase knowledge and skills while saving students money.
