What a month we had in July! We welcomed 40 new students to Epic, took delivery of two brand new Cessna 172s for our continually growing fleet, and welcomed new partners to our Aircraft Mechanic Program. Aerotek, American Aero Services, Ascent Aviation Services, Baker Aviation, Southern Airways Express, and STS Aviation Group have signed letters of agreement to offer interviews to graduates of Epic’s aircraft mechanic program. We are grateful to our dedicated staff, students, and partners who are devoted to developing careers in aviation.

Epic founder and CEO Danny Perna (left) was thrilled to spot John Evans at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in July. John trained at Epic and became our Assistant Chief Pilot before heading off to the airlines. He is now a Captain for Endeavor Air. In other staff news, Cindy Lovell, director of education, co-authored a new textbook, Linguistics for K-12 Classroom Application, released in July by Kendall Hunt Publishing Company.
