Dr. Cindy Lovell is an educator and writer. She has held tenured faculty positions at two universities. She also served as executive director of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum in Hannibal and the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford. As Epic’s Director of Education, she oversees accreditation. She also oversees the Daytona State College and Polk State College programs, web content, newsletters, English tutoring, press inquiries, and scholarships. Cindy serves on the TESA Academy Advisory Committee and the Education Committee for the SEV Chamber of Commerce. She earned her BA and MA from Stetson University and a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. In 2020, Cindy co-authored Linguistics for K-12 Classroom Application. In 2021, she co-edited the 4th edition of Preparing the Way: Teaching ELs in the Pre-K – 12 Classroom.
