Dr. Cindy Lovell is an educator and writer. She has held tenured faculty positions at two universities. She also served as executive director of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum in Hannibal and the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford. As Epic’s Director of Education, she oversees accreditation. She also oversees the Daytona State College Program, web content, newsletters, English tutoring, press inquiries, and scholarships. She earned her BA and MA from Stetson University and a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. In 2020, Cindy co-authored Linguistics for K-12 Classroom Application. In 2021, she co-edited the 4th edition of Preparing the Way: Teaching ELs in the Pre-K – 12 Classroom.
