New Airline Direct Program
Are you looking for a flight training program that takes you directly to a career with the airlines? Look no further! Epic has partnered with Southern Airways Express and Mokulele Airlines to take you from zero experience to an airline career in 10 months. We accept 6 cadets into our Airline Direct Program every month. We invite you to apply to this exciting program.
April Specials
- Airline Direct Program – IR and CPL students are eligible for the Airline Direct Program. (Note: Typically, only PPL students are eligible for this program. Because we have just launched it, we will accept IR and CPL cadets who start in May.)
- College Students – All flight students with a valid college ID receive 10% off in April.
- International Students – Enroll now and you will receive FREE ground school instruction.
- Transfer Students – Transfer students receive $2,500 discount when enrolling this month.

Epic in the News
Congratulations to Epic COO Josh Rawlins who was recognized by the Daytona Beach News-Journal for his achievements as a “40 Under Forty” honoree! You can view the program here and see Josh with his award at the 18:20 mark. The News-Journal also shared that Tyren Wilson was recently promoted to the position of business operations manager at Epic. Well done, Josh and Tyren!
In other news, Aviation Pros, Hometown News Volusia, and the Hallsdale Group shared the exciting announcement regarding Epic’s new Airline Direct Program. Aviation Pros and AOPA also featured stories about Epic’s expanding fleet. Aircraft Mechanic Training
Our Aircraft Mechanic Program opens the door to hundreds of different careers. In just 14 to 18 months, you can start your new career as an aviation maintenance technician. You can be hired to work in the space industry, within the airlines, or even as a ride technician at the theme parks. There are thousands of job openings in this field. Epic offers fast, affordable training to help you level up in your career.

Training Spotlight: Communications
Aviate, navigate, communicate. These are the three main focuses for every pilot. Communicating with Air Traffic Control (ATC) can be a challenge for student pilots. There is so much aviation terminology and abbreviated speech. Sometimes the controller speaks too fast, and pilots need to ask for instructions to be repeated. This can be especially challenging while you’re trying to fly, which is why Epic students enjoy using our Radio Communications Lab for real-world practice. Lab instructor Tim Slocum explains, “Our radio communications lab teaches students how to communicate on the radio on the ground so they can focus on flying when in the plane.” Are you curious about what a live tower sounds like? You can listen to the New Smyrna Beach Airport’s live ATC! Listen closely… you will hear many Epic instructors and students on the airwaves!
