6th Annual Aviation Scholarship Awards and Career Fair
It’s that time of the year again! Join us on Saturday, November 6th from 4 to 6 pm for our 6th Annual Aviation Scholarship Awards and Career Fair! New Smyrna Beach Mayor Russ Owen will be on site to announce the winners of two pilot scholarships and two aircraft mechanic scholarships. We will also be celebrating the winners of our fishing tournament. Epic will award $89,000 in aviation scholarships this year!
As in years past, the event will feature a Career Fair showcasing the event sponsors: Cessna/Textron, Piper, SkyWest, Air Wisconsin, United Airlines, Southern Airways Express, Piedmont Airlines, New Smyrna Outfitters, and FEAM Maintenance.
101 Trailblazing Women of Air and Space: Aviators and Astronauts
Epic Flight Academy is proud to announce its sponsorship of the latest book by Dr. Penny Rafferty Hamilton, 101 Trailblazing Women of Air and Space: Aviators and Astronauts. Epic’s own Captain Judy Rice wrote the foreword for this important new book highlighting accomplished women of flight. Captain Judy will be signing the book at our Scholarship Awards event on Nov. 6th. Dr. Hamilton will donate a portion of the book’s proceeds to support women in STEM.
