Karl Costich is a U.S. Navy veteran, licensed A&P mechanic, and commercial pilot currently pursuing a degree in Photographic Science at Daytona State College. He served eight years as an Aviation Structural Mechanic with deployments around the world before earning his Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot’s License and flying as a Captain for PlaneSense Inc., operating Pilatus PC-12 aircraft throughout the U.S., Caribbean, and Canada. Karl previously worked on Epic’s maintenance team and, as of 2025, has rejoined the organization as a mechanic while continuing his academic pursuits. Whether turning wrenches, solving systems issues, or developing film in the darkroom, Karl brings a spirit of precision, curiosity, and adventure to every task.
