Michelle was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan. Her father was in the U.S. Navy, which enabled her to travel and meet all kinds of aviators, which is where her interest in aviation was piqued. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. During her time at college, she obtained her PPL to CMEL and earned her aircraft dispatcher license. Afterward, she received her CFI and CFII at Epic Flight Academy. Outside of flying, Michelle enjoys hot yoga, eating, and organizing. Michelle is forever grateful for the exceptional training she received at Epic and would like to pass it forward. She is very excited to train with aspiring pilots while promoting Epic’s safety culture.
