Jonathan lives in Port Orange, FL with his wife Kara and spends time kayak fishing in the lagoon when he’s not in an airplane or with his family. Jonathan left his hometown in Virginia Beach to join the United States Marine Corps in 2017 as an MV-22 Osprey Aircrewman and mechanic, a role which he still fills in the Reserves. It only took a few flights to reignite a passion for flying that had started as a young kid.
While living in Mississippi, Jonathan completed his PPL in January of 2020, then completed a B.S. in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle where he also attained his instrument rating, commercial certificate, AGI, and multi-engine add-on. Jonathan worked as a ground instructor for 2 years at ERAU and completed his CFI and CFII at Epic in 2022.He joined Epic as a Flight Instructor in 2023 and passionately teaches his students to fly safely and reach their goals.
