New Smyrna Beach, Florida – The Orlando Sentinel recognized Epic Flight Academy as a Top Workplace in 2025 for the fourth consecutive year. The awards are presented based solely on employee feedback.

Alex Kish, Epic’s Director of Human Resources, said, “This is a result of feedback provided by employees in the greater Orlando area – those who work at Epic’s Ocala and New Smyrna Beach campuses. We take employee feedback seriously, so it’s exciting to be recognized for what our instructors and staff have to say about the company.”

Founder Danny Perna added, “It’s an honor to receive this award again. With 12 campuses and continued growth, we’ve tried to focus on both our staff and students to ensure we’re meeting everyone’s needs. This is an important validation from our team, and I’m grateful for that.”

Epic Flight Academy employs approximately 300 people nationwide providing FAA Part 141 flight training and FAA Part 147 aircraft mechanic training.
