On board, you will need to demonstrate good English and German skills so that you can effectively meet the needs of our passengers. A knowledge of Turkish is also crucial when working on some flights, but is not a compulsory requirement.

1. Captain – Wide Body (B777, A330, A340):

  • Must be born after 01.01.1956
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • No written penalty due to flight default or lack of discipline
  • No history of criminal record
  • Hold an EASA/FAA/ICAO ATPL(A) with a valid type rating on the applied aircraft type
  • Must be a current Commander/Captain
  • Minimum 7,000 hours of total flight time
  • Minimum 3,000 PIC hours of flight time on aircraft over 27 tons
  • Minimum 1,000 PIC hours of flight time on the applied aircraft type
  • Flown at least 250 hours in the last 12 months on the applied aircraft type
  • Must hold a valid Class 1 Medical certificate with no limitations (with the exception of visual corrections)
  • Minimum ICAO Level 4 in English

2. Captain- Narrow Body (B737, A320):

  • Flown at least 250 hours in the last 12 months on the applied aircraft type

Captains:

  • ATPL (A) license issued in accordance with JAR-FCL or ICAO standards
  • Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with JAR-FCL 3, EASA Part-MED or ICAO standards
  • Minimum 4000 flight hours total experience
  • Minimum 1500 flight hours on aircraft heavier than of 27000 kg MTOW
  • Minimum 3 years airline pilot experience (starting with type rating endorsement date)
  • Minimum 500 hours active PIC experience (on aircraft with more than 19 seat capacity and heavier than 27000 kg MTOW)
  • Minimum ICAO Level 4 English proficiency
  • Valid B737 NG Type Rating is required for ICAO licensed pilots
  • Must be between 1.60 m and 1.95 m height

First Officers:

  • Candidates should have Turkish Passport or Blue Card
  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Minimum CPL (A)/IR (A) license and IR on multi-engine aircraft
  • MCC course
  • ATPL (A) theoretical knowledge exams passed
  • JAR FCL 3 class 1 medical
  • University Degree
  • Must be between 1.60 m and 1.95 m height
