Tyler Martin was born in Princeton, New Jersey, and grew up in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Tyler played baseball in the spring and fall, spent winter snowboarding in the mountains with his family, and would spend the summers surfing and fishing with his grandparents on the Jersey Shore. During these summers, Tyler would wake up early to watch the jets practicing for the Atlantic City Airshow overhead. This sparked a passion for aviation that brought him to Florida to pursue a career as a pilot.
Tyler began his training in September 2020 and was able to earn his Private Pilot’s License, Instrument Rating, Commercial Single-Engine License, CFI and CFII all at Epic. Tyler is looking forward to passing on the lessons he has learned and helping the newest generation of pilots start their careers in aviation.
