Born in Jacksonville, FL in a Navy family, Sam Whitehurst began school overseas in England before growing up in metro Atlanta, GA where he earned his Private Pilot rating. Sam transferred to Epic and earned his Instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFII ratings and is pleased to join the Instructor Staff. Growing up around aviation, he looks forward to the next phase of training students at Epic. Sam is recently married and enjoys snowboarding and spending time at the beach with his wife, Jennifer.
