Taylor Rawlins is an A&P aircraft mechanic at Epic Flight Academy. When he started at Epic, he was still in high school. His duties included cutting grass and painting the DC-7. Taylor then started working in the maintenance shop as an apprentice, which is how he became an A&P. In 2024, Taylor earned his IA (Inspection Authorization) from the FAA. This means he is authorized to determine airworthiness by inspecting repairs or alterations and assuring aircraft are safe to operate. During his free time he loves to spend his time out on the water fishing or in the woods hunting.
