Jeff Knipe is originally from Brunswick, Maine, and he has also lived in southern Maryland. He has dreamed about becoming a pilot since childhood. After graduating from the University of Maryland in 2021, he earned his Private Pilot certificate and moved to Florida in July 2022 to attend Epic Flight Academy. Jeff undoubtedly credits his aviation career to his father, a retired U.S. Navy Chief who proudly served for 22 years as an Aviation Warfare Officer aboard the P-3 Orion. As a flight instructor, Jeff hopes to follow in the footsteps of the outstanding instructors who have taught him by inspiring his students to love aviation as much as he does. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching sports.
