Originally from northern Michigan, Alan has lived in many different places in the U.S., including RVing full-time for three years visiting 40 of the 50 states. Alan has always loved aviation, but decided to make it his new career a few years ago. He got his private pilot certificate and instrument rating at a part 61 school before finding Epic, where he finished the rest of his certificates and ratings to become an instructor. Alan jumped at the chance to move back to Arizona as an instructor at Epic’s Tucson location to be closer to family in the Phoenix area. An avid outdoorsman, Alan enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing.
