To become a trained airline pilot at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
1) Be at least 17 years of age
2) Speak English proficiently

With an M-1 visa, employment in the U.S. is very limited and not guaranteed after training. After completing your course, you are required to leave the country within 30 days, so it is best to seek employment opportunities in your home country.

Our Airline Pilot Program for international students takes you through all the training necessary to become a professional pilot under FAA standards. Flight simulators can be helpful for learning basic concepts, procedures, and cockpit familiarity, but they don’t fully replicate the physical sensations and responsibilities of real flight. Epic Flight Academy does not provide funding or sponsorship up to the ATPL level. International students are required to secure their own funding before starting training, and we’re happy to guide you through the enrollment process once you’re ready.

If your employment is in Canada, you would still need the proper U.S. visa, such as an M-1 student visa, to train here at Epic Flight Academy, regardless of where your job is based.

It is the same with international students. We are happy to offer the “pay as you fly” option. You are required to pay at least $10,000 as a down payment before your classes begin. Then, you will start using the funds in your account until you have $2,500 left on your account. Then, you will need to add funds to your account to continue flight training.
