Our Airline Pilot Program for international students takes you through all the training necessary to become a professional pilot under FAA standards. We are happy to offer the “pay as you fly” option. You are required to pay at least $10,000 as a down payment before your classes begin. Then, you will start using the funds on your account until you have $1,000 left on your account. Then, you will need to add funds to your account to continue flight training.
To become a trained airline pilot at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
1) Be at least 17 years of age
2) Speak English proficiently
3) International students must have a valid passport (Passport information: https://epicflightacademy.com/passports/) or two other forms of identification if you are from the USA
4) Completed high school or secondary education (Grades don’t matter, only that you completed school.)Please note that there will be an English proficiency test during the application process.

We encourage you to evaluate financing options. Once training has started, it’s best not to have any interruptions. Stopping and starting your flight training costs much more in the long run, because your skills and knowledge become dull when you are grounded while saving up funds to fly. It is more cost and time efficient to have your flight training funds readily available so you can train without interruption.

In civil aviation there is not a minimum height requirement to become a pilot; however, some small aircraft cannot accommodate an extremely tall individual. Yes, just let us know ahead of time. We have a new class starting each month. We recommend international students apply 2 months prior to their desired starting dates to allow visa processing time.

Yes! In order to get a Commercial Pilot License, you’ll need to have a Private Pilot License and Instrument Rating.
