To become a trained airline pilot at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
1) Be at least 17 years of age
2) Speak English proficiently
3) International students must have a valid passport (Passport information: https://epicflightacademy.com/passports/) or two other forms of identification if you are from the USA
4) Completed high school or secondary education (Grades don’t matter, only that you completed school.)Thank you for using our forum. Have a great day!

At Epic Flight Academy, we provide FAA-standard flight training that can greatly improve your chances of getting hired after completing the program. However, we do not guarantee job placement. Hiring ultimately depends on the airline and the individual’s efforts. Many Epic students from outside the U.S. return to their home countries to seek employment after completing their pilot training at Epic Flight Academy.

If you wish to take our Aircraft Mechanic program, the tuition is only $35,000, and it will take around 15 weeks to complete.

Thank you for your message and for sharing your background with us. Having experience as an electromechanical technician and working in hydrocarbon piping is a good technical foundation, and it can be useful in several areas of the aviation industry.
To get started, you must have the following qualifications:
1) Be 18 years old either prior to starting the program OR by the completion of the program.
2) Speak English proficiently.
3) A minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or a minimum TOEFL score of 110.
