You do not have to be a mathematician in order to attend flight training. As long as you know the basic mathematical operations, you are good to go.
You will use calculation when planning for flights and during the actual flights.In civil aviation there is not a minimum height requirement to become a pilot; however, some small aircraft cannot accommodate an extremely tall individual.
