    Hello Tanjimud,

We welcome international students from all over the world. To become a trained airline pilot at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
    1) Be at least 17 years of age
    2) Speak English proficiently
    3) International students must have a valid passport (Passport information: https://epicflightacademy.com/passports/) or two other forms of identification if you are from the USA
    4) Completed high school or secondary education (Grades don’t matter, only that you completed school.)

Unfortunately, scholarships and financing are not available for international students at this time. But we do have a section with suggestions to help you secure funding for attending Epic Flight Academy. Please check here: https://epicflightacademy.com/flight-school-financing-international/

Also, your vision must be at least 20/40 for near and distant vision with or without corrective lenses, and you must be able to perceive those colors necessary for the safe pilot performance. You can always contact an AME for specific information. You may locate an AME here: https://www.faa.gov/pilots/amelocator/

In civil aviation, there is not a minimum height requirement to become a pilot; however, some small aircraft cannot accommodate an extremely tall individual. To be sure of a specific airline’s requirements, we encourage you to contact them directly. https://epicflightacademy.com/commercial-airline-hiring-requirements/

Furthermore, no English certificates like IELTS are required. We have our own English Test Administrator. Basically you have a video call with our English Test Administrator and they will determine if you are able to understand English well enough to come train here at Epic. You have to be fluent in English both verbally and in writing.

To check your eligibility, you can start here: https://epicflightacademy.com/prequalification-enrollment/

Thank you for using our forum!
