I have done my CPL/PPL/FRTOL and Radio Telephony from Indian DGCA and flying school named IGRUA and then I converted my CPL to Afghan ACAA CPL and I flew on 2 types MD80s and B737 CL aircrafts total of 1850hrs from which 1500 is on B737 (B737-300 and 500), I have Level 5 ELP and also MCC from India and also Frozen ATP from Royal Jordanian Air Academy.
Currently I am resident of USA newly moved here and my question is that for me to fly in US1. do I have to convert my licenses to FAA ?
2. In case I need FAA what all things I have to do and will my experience and flight hours can help me to get reduction in training and in getting FAA license ?
3. How much might the costs be for me ?
4. How long would the process take ?

– Yes. Please note that all of your foreign licenses need to be updated first before it can be converted to FAA.2. In case I need FAA what all things I have to do and will my experience and flight hours can help me to get reduction in training and in getting FAA license ?
– You’ll have to sit in with our chief flight instructor to determine which part of the training can be credited to your course.3. How much might the costs be for me ?
– Starting from Instrument, tuition is $37,600.50 USD https://epicflightacademy.com/international-pilot-pathway/4. How long would the process take ?
– The application will take less than a week. We have a new class starting each month. International students are recommended to apply at least 2 months prior to their desired start date to allow visa processing time.Thank you for using our forum!
