    Good afternoon,

I’m currently a student pilot at East Coast (KOWD Airport next to Boston). I’m currently 50 hours into my flight training and I’m hoping to get my PPL in the following months depending on work schedule and weather. I currently hold a 1st class medical and want to become an airline pilot.
I have a few questions about your school and overall process.
    1. Is there an enrollment period or can I start the training at any time?
    2. Are you a part 61 or 141 school?
    3. Do you provide instructor training (CFI, CFII, MEI)? If yes, what is the price?
    4. Is the airport where you are located very busy, are there a lot of other flight schools operating from that airport?
    5. What will be the costs of the training starting with PPL? Can you please provide a breakdown of the hourly cost of the aircraft and the instructor’s hourly rate?
    6. What fleet of aircrafts do you have and how old are they?
    7. Do you have senior instructors that I can choose from?
    8. Do you provide housing?

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you!

    Hello AlexanderMdr,

    1. Is there an enrollment period or can I start the training at any time?
    – You can start anytime since our pilot courses start every second Monday of each month.

    2. Are you a part 61 or 141 school?
    – Yes. We are both part 141 and part 61 flight school.

    3. Do you provide instructor training (CFI, CFII, MEI)? If yes, what is the price?
    – Yes. Tuition for your CFI rating costs $11,155 Furthermore, CFII add-on costs $5,860. Finally, the MEI add-on costs $6,488.

    4. Is the airport where you are located very busy, are there a lot of other flight schools operating from that airport?
    – Happy to inform you that only Epic Flight Academy, the only flight school uses NSB airport so you don’t need to wait for long for your next flight as a student.

    5. What will be the costs of the training starting with PPL? Can you please provide a breakdown of the hourly cost of the aircraft and the instructor’s hourly rate?
    – Our U.S. Airline Pilot Program takes you through all the training necessary to become a professional pilot under FAA standards and it takes approximately 10 months to complete the training. Total tuition is $81,647.00 USD. https://epicflightacademy.com/professional-pilot-pathway/

The program is composed of Private Pilot Course, Instrument Rating, Commercial Single-Engine Course, Flight Instructor Course, Flight Instructor Instrument Course, Commercial Multi-Engine Add On Course, and Multi-Engine Flight Instructor Course.

Please check the full cost breakdown here, https://epicflightacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/march-2024-domestic.pdf

    6. What fleet of aircrafts do you have and how old are they?
    – Our fleet is 27 aircraft in total. 4 Multi-Engine Piper/Seneca 23 Cessna’s (Single-Engine) 2 of our Cessnas are TAA Technologically Advanced Aircraft Meaning they have an autopilot feature.

The average age of the fleet is less than 4 years.

    7. Do you have senior instructors that I can choose from?
    – Yes, we do.

    8. Do you provide housing?
    – Yes. We have housing just 10 minutes away from the campus. Accommodation is $800 per month for a shared room with free transportation. However, availability is limited. You will need to speak with your recruiter about the availability of housing depending on the start date you have chosen.
