What is the scholarship all about?

Each year, Epic Flight Academy awards scholarships to qualified high school students who demonstrate a passion for aviation. To date, more than $80,000 has been awarded to aspiring pilots. In 2020, we will be awarding one full $20,000 scholarship toward a Private Pilot’s License and one partial $5,000 scholarship toward flight training. We will also award one $29,000 scholarship for our aircraft mechanic program and a $2,500 scholarship to a current flight student. That’s a total of $56,500 in scholarship!

 

What are the benefits to becoming a sponsor?

Besides the obvious benefits of encouraging and supporting future aviators, Epic Flight Academy’s Aviation Scholarship Awards offers the following benefits to its sponsors:

• Sponsors are provided a display table at the annual awards event, which is attended by 500 to 1,000 people. More than 500 of the attendees are Epic pilots. The awards event includes fun, food, games, raffles, and a silent auction.
• Sponsors are invited to participate in a special fishing tournament – we provide the boats and gear. This year’s fishing tournament theme is “Red Tails for Red Tails.” Epic’s distinctive red tails are a safety feature, and everyone loves fishing to see who can catch the biggest redfish. There will be prizes and a special dinner event for sponsors after the boats come in. This is held the evening before the scholarship awards are presented.
• Sponsors’ logos will be displayed on our website and linked back to the sponsors’ websites.
• Sponsors are invited to host pilot events at our campus.
• Note: Sponsorship rewards vary according to level of sponsorship.

The networking opportunities are endless. Sponsors can send four representatives who will have the opportunity to meet Epic pilots and scholarship recipients. We also invite you to display our “badge of honor” on your website to show that you support upcoming pilots.

Platinum Package: $800

Gold Package: $500

What is the cost of sponsorship?

The cost of sponsorship at the EPIC level is only $3,500. We invite sponsors to send 4 representatives to the event and enjoy our fishing tournament the evening before the scholarship presentation. We happily accept sponsorship at other levels. Sponsors who donate $500 and above by October 1st are ensured their logos will appear on all promotional materials, such as website, t-shirts, banners, etc.
