Epic CFI Hal Maskiell Receives Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award

New Smyrna Beach, FL – Representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) hosted a ceremony at Epic Flight Academy honoring CFI Hal Maskiell for his 50+ years of professionalism, safety, skill, and aviation expertise. Maskiell’s family and friends were in attendance as he was presented a certificate, plaque, and lapel pin. Hal’s wife also received a lapel pin in honor of her support throughout his aviation career.
The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award is the most prestigious award issued by the FAA under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 61. Maskiell’s name has been added to the FAA’s Role of Honor.
