“Stay in the books! Keep the airframe knowledge fresh while in powerplant, but don’t burn out. Take breaks, because you need to rest and reward yourself for all your hard work. Don’t get complacent! ‘Good enough’ just isn’t enough. Proper use of tools is a must. Torque values. The aviation industry has been one of the most rewarding careers to be in. However, honesty and integrity are a must. Lives are in your hands, and knowing your passengers made it safely to their destination feels great because you made that happen.”
