David was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Texas and New Mexico. He grew his love for flying at a very young age. Shortly after high school he took his first steps towards his goals and started at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In 2008 he moved to Florida to start his pilot training where he grew his love for flying and graduated with his Bachelor’s in Aeronautics and a Minor in Occupational Health and Safety in 2020. Though he didn’t finish his flying requirements due to financial constraints, he continued towards his goals and got hired with JetBlue as an Inflight Crew member in early 2022. After a year with JetBlue, he applied for their Gateway Pilot program, in which he was accepted and offered a conditional job offer as a first officer upon completion. He currently holds a private pilot license with instrument rating and is working on his commercial. In his down time, he loves cooking, spending time with his wife and daughter at Disney, and collecting all things Lilo & Stitch.
