CJ was born and raised in Massachusetts. He started flying at the age of 14 after being introduced to it by his Uncle Steve, a retired USAF Fighter Pilot. While still in high school, CJ received his PPL after training with Beverly Flight Center and Avier Flight School in Beverly Massachusetts.
He then went on to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he obtained his instrument, commercial and multi-engine ratings. During that time, he also received his CFI and CFII ratings at Epic Flight Academy. He graduated from ERAU in May 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science.
As a former hockey goalie throughout his childhood and into high school, CJ enjoys watching hockey, playing drums and fishing in his spare time. With a passion for flying and teaching, CJ looks forward to being able to train, inspire and encourage new pilots.
