Anthony Allbright joined the Epic team from the Kennedy Space Center working with the STEM program for young adventurers and the Astronaut Training Experience simulators for international students. He offers three decades of experience serving in various roles within the aviation industry and ten years as a university lecturer in the humanities. He holds a master’s degree in Adult Education & Science from Indiana University with a minor in Psychology and is currently working toward a PsyD. in clinical psychology. He is certified in English as a Second Language teacher and has taught in General Electric’s program for trade-specific skills for TESOL/TESL students in Saudi Arabia for the Royal Family’s Job Development Initiative and in South Korea for the Vice President and top researchers of the LG corporation. He spent five years in the South Pacific with a commercial fishing fleet working on and learning to fly the Hughes 500 series helicopter. He served honorably in the United States Air Force as a structures technician on the F-16 Fighting Falcon and earned his Airframe and Powerplant certification working in the commercial aviation arena as an apprentice while attending Purdue University for aviation technology.
Anthony has been married 20+ years to his wife Martha who is an engineering graduate of Purdue University and holds both her CAA and FAA licenses to work on aircraft; she also worked as an engineer for NASA on the Space Shuttle Atlantis. Anthony’s hobbies include writing. He has one publication (Is Flying Risky Business?) on the international market and two novels currently with agents awaiting publication. He also enjoys cooking and attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in New York to enhance his culinary skills. His absolute shining star is his daughter Sarah, who is attending the University of Florida Medical School to become an Emergency Room doctor.
