Alex was born and raised in New Smyrna Beach. After graduating from New Smyrna Beach High School, legendary Coach Steve Spurrier recruited him to play football at the University of Florida in Gainesville, earning his Bachelor’s degree in 2004.
After college, Alex continued to expand and build upon what is now an established career in Human Resources. He has worked in many different areas, all with the signature theme of helping others, from his local State Farm agency, to helping student athletes pursue their dreams in San Diego. His deep roots led him back to New Smyrna, where he’s worked in insurance, recruiting, and managing a highly successful branch of a large staffing company. When he’s not working, Alex can be found on the golf course, taking long walks with his dog, Swiss, or spending time with his wife and daughters and extended family.
