To become a trained airline pilot at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
1) Be at least 17 years of age
2) Speak English proficiently
3) International students must have a valid passport (Passport information: https://epicflightacademy.com/passports/) or two other forms of identification if you are from the USA
4) Completed high school or secondary education (Grades don’t matter, only that you completed school.)Thank you for using our forum!

Unfortunately, we no longer accept GI Bill for our pilot training program. We only accept it in our aircraft mechanic course.
For restricted ATP, no.
However, Epic Flight Academy is proud to offer an ATP-CTP course in partnership with Simulator Center LLC. The ATP-CTP (Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program) is an important tool. This is because it helps you prepare for the Airline Transport Pilot Knowledge Test (ATP written test). The course includes 32 hours of classroom training followed by 10 hours of flight simulator training. Conveniently, it is offered in the Orlando, Florida area.

Our Airline Pilot Program for international students takes you through all the training necessary to become a professional pilot under FAA standards. The Part 147 program is 19 months and it’s Monday-Thursday 8am 3pm, they are off Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hiring is ultimately up to the efforts of the individual. Many Epic students from outside of the US will return to their home country to seek employment once they have completed their pilot training at Epic Flight Academy.
