Where is New Smyrna Beach?

New Smyrna Beach is an historic town located in central Florida on the east coast. It’s approximately 56 miles northeast of Orlando. The Aircraft Mechanic School has four classrooms that can accommodate up to 25 students each, administrative offices, and hands-on training hangar space. The hangar holds multiple aircraft, engines, training gears and boards, sheet metal training stations, welding stations, and various flight controls and components. There is a computer lab and library with aviation mechanic literature and maintenance manuals.

About Your Training at Epic

What does a potential student need to know about an aircraft mechanic education? The program takes 15 months to complete. Tuition includes tools and books, and the majority of the training is hands-on. Becoming an aviation maintenance technician is within your reach! You can prequalify in minutes. Classes are held Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Did you know that your Epic training can also transfer as college credit toward a degree?

What is the cost for training?

The cost for tuition is $33,500 ($6,700 per course), which includes 3 FAA written exams. Books/materials cost $1,500. There is a $145 application fee once you are approved. Upon completion of the program, there is an FAA oral exam and an FAA practical exam. These cost a total of $1,850. Above all, we disclose all costs upfront so you can plan accordingly. Total cost is: $36,995.
