Flight Training

Flight Training in a Voyager
The Pipistrel Voyager in the latest innovation in flight training. Epic Flight Academy offers pilot training for students with no experience or those who are transferring flight hours. The Voyager supports flight training under MOSAIC (Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification). MOSAIC is a broad set of FAA regulations intended to revolutionize recreational and general aviation. It replaces more rigid aircraft weight restrictions with performance-based standards while focusing on safety.
Why did Epic expand its fleet with the Voyager?
In July 2026, Epic became Textron Aviation’s launch customer to offer flight training in the Pipistrel Voyager due to its innovations. It augments Epic’s current training fleet of Cessna Skyhawks and expands training capability and flexibility and reduces training costs.
