Epic Grads Hired at Airlines

November 23, 2010

New Smyrna Beach, FL – Epic Flight Academy is proud to announce less than 12 months after fully developing the Airline Skills Development Course, four recent graduates from Epic’s flight program have been hired as second officers after completing the commercial pilot course and started their careers with the airlines.

“Now that our program includes the ASD, we provide a stronger foundation while also fully integrating glass cockpit and autopilot training,” said CEO Danny Perna. “This advances our students to the front of the interview line. Speaking with airlines around the world, they also emphasize the importance of having FAA pilot licenses. By earning their FAA Commercial pilot licenses, this exempts new pilots from having to take ICAO Level 4 English courses, and in some cases, even having to convert their licenses to their local Civil Aviation Authority.”

Perna added, “We are extremely proud of these most recent grads and their successes,” Perna added. “The demand for pilots is growing, and we expect to see continued hiring success for our flight school graduates.”
