Hiring requirements pilot career

General Requirements:

A320 Captain:

  • 4,000 hours total aeronautical experience (on fixed wing aircraft)
  • 500 hours PIC on A320 aircraft
  • 1,500 hours PIC on an aircraft with an MTOW over 50,000kg
  • 1,000 hours on EFIS aircraft
  • 3,000 hours on jet aircraft (commercial airline and/or multi crew operations preferred)
  • A valid A320 proficiency check (within the last 6 months)
  • Hold a valid Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with an A320 Type Rating
  • English Language Proficiency ICAO Level 4 on your License
  • Current Class 1 medical certificate
  • Successful completion of a multi-crew cooperation course or have experience in multi-crew operations.
  • Hold a current Instrument Rating
  • License verification letter from the country where your license has been issued (no older than two (2) months from application date)
  • Notarized criminal record check (no older than two (2) months from application date). Please note that this should be notarized by the Vietnamese embassy located in your local country

A320 First Officer:

  • Hold a valid Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with an A320 Type Rating
  • English Language Proficiency ICAO Level 4 on your License
  • Current Class 1 medical certificate
  • Successful completion of a multi-crew cooperation course or have experience in multi-crew operations
  • Hold a current Instrument Rating
  • 1,500 hours total aeronautical experience (on fixed wing aircraft)
  • 1,000 hours A320 Experience
  • 500 hours PIC or FO on multi-engine aircraft
  • A valid A320 proficiency check (within the last 6 months)
  • License verification letter from the country where your license has been issued (no older than two (2) months from application date)
  • Notarized criminal record check (no older than two (2) months from application date) Please note that this should be notarized by the Vietnamese embassy located in your local country
