A note from Michael:
Aviation is a journey that will really test you. Consistency and good character will take you far. Aviation is like a Limelight and limelight does one thing – it amplifies everything you give it; as much as it amplifies your skills and your good parts, it also amplifies and put out in the open all your little flaws. Every single thing becomes consequential. Your positives are applauded, but your negatives will never be forgotten, so please address your flaws or your imperfections early before the start of your career. Know your weaknesses and ensure you manage them in a way they don’t come in the way during the expression of your strengths, because it can be hard to climb the ladder of success, but so easy to lose it all due to little character flaws that could be managed.
I’m so grateful to all the instructors at Epic Flight Academy. They really poured out a lot from their experiences. Sometimes you really don’t know how much you know until it is required to perform a task. Thank you, Epic Flight Academy!
