Will the VA pay for my Private Pilots License training?

FAQ » » Will the VA pay for my Private Pilots License training?

The VA won’t pay for your private pilot’s license because it is considered “recreational” training rather than vocational training.  Once you receive your PPL and pass the medical certification, then you may use your GI bill for flight training provided you have remaining benefits and can provide a Certificate of Eligibility.
