Multiple Open Houses Last Month
We held multiple events last month including an Open House in Ocala (above) where folks enjoyed free Discovery Flights and another in Jacksonville. If you weren’t able to join us, check our calendar for upcoming events, or stop by any of our locations. We love offering tours of our aircraft mechanic schools and flight schools and look forward to welcoming you!
Welcoming New Students in March
March brought an eager group of flight students to the New Smyrna Beach campus (pictured) and our other campuses! Between ground school and flying, they are staying plenty busy! We look forward to welcoming YOU to one of our campuses soon!
Epic Outreach: See You Somewhere Soon!
We love welcoming students for field trips and taking Epic on the road! The CVG Workforce Development brought students from South Ripley High School (above) to tour our Aircraft Mechanic School at the CVG Airport last month. Other outreach included:

New Articles: Pitot Tube and Aircraft Lighting
We are excited to share new articles on two important topics: the amazing pitot tube and aircraft lighting. Both pilots and aircraft mechanics need to master this content to ensure safe flight operations. You might also want to revisit our article on the world’s biggest aircraft, because we recently added the world’s smallest aircraft, which is located in a museum near our Tucson campus!
Epic Alumni News: Career Updates
Congratulations to aircraft mechanic graduate Mark Gavlak who is now working at Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services in Tampa! Also, congratulations to Joseph Mensah-Boateng who is a First Officer flying the Dash 8 Q300/400 for Passion Air in Ghana! Joseph earned his PPL, IR, and CMEL at Epic. He shared these words of advice for Epic flight students:
“The standards at Epic are necessary for the real world and I encourage all pilots and students to follow the procedures and standards during their training at Epic. Epic is amazing!”
