Epic Flight Academy Receives Accreditation from ACCSC

We are proud to announce that Epic Flight Academy is now accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) for its pilot and aviation maintenance technician (AMT) training programs in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Epic has undergone a years-long self-assessment with students and staff to achieve this accreditation. CEO Danny Perna acknowledged the commitment of staff and students for collaborating to achieve accreditation. We have leveled up!

Aircraft Mechanic Graduates

Congratulations to Epic’s most recent aircraft mechanic graduates in New Smyrna Beach! Friends and family attended the graduation last month to celebrate 19 months of hard work. These grads are now FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant mechanics!

Five New Cessnas

Epic took delivery of 5 brand new Cessna 172 Skyhawks last month in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The maintenance crew will be painting the tails red for better visibility as Epic’s fleet continues to grow. We purchase all training aircraft brand new from the factory!

New Students in February

We welcomed an eager group of flight students (above) to the New Smyrna Beach campus last month along with new students at our other campuses! Epic CFIs are busier than ever!

February 17th was the start date for new aircraft mechanic students at the CVG Airport campus (above) and the New Smyrna Beach campus (below). In just 19 months, we’ll be sharing graduation photos!

Extracurricular Learning Opportunities

Our aircraft mechanic students got to check out the mobile maintenance command post for the Goodyear Blimp at the New Smyrna Beach Airport and tour the Cessna (Textron) Citation Service Center in Orlando. These unique experiences enhance their Epic education!
