Grand Opening in Provo, Utah

We are excited to invite you to the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of our newest flight school, which is located in Provo, Utah. Members of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, and we look forward to sharing discovery flights and simulator flying during the grand opening! Join us to celebrate this Epic milestone!

Welcome to Our Newest Students!

Welcome to our newest pilots (above) at the New Smyrna Beach campus and our other campuses as well. They have completed orientation and are now busy with their flight training.

A new class of aircraft mechanic students will begin training on October 13th at our CVG Airport campus and in New Smyrna Beach!

Top Workplace 2025

We did it again! The Orlando Sentinel has recognized Epic Flight Academy as a Top Workplace in 2025, our fourth year in a row! This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based solely on feedback from our incredible staff! Pictured here are a few Epic team members who attended the awards luncheon.

CFI Ground School Graduates

These pilots have completed ground school for their Certified Flight Instructor rating! No wonder they’re jumping for joy! It takes approximately 2 months to complete CFI training at Epic. Are you ready?

LPA Scholarship Winner

The Latino Professionals in Aerospace (LPA) presented John Mejia with its Epic Flight Academy Aircraft Mechanic Scholarship award during its annual scholarship event. We look forward to welcoming John to campus to begin his aviation journey!

Campus Events

Wings Over the Rockies at APA

Epic Flight Academy partnered with Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum at Centennial Airport. Two of our flight instructors showed our airplanes to a group of 30 children and their parents. Epic flight instructor Seann Prigge (above left) explained principles of flight and other aviation concepts.

Girls in Aviation Day – OCF

Epic staff and instructors participated in Girls in Aviation Day at the Ocala International Airport. This annual event encourages girls to imagine a career in aviation, and our team did a great job sharing their passion for aviation.

Challenge Air for Kids & Friends – APA

We were honored to participate in the Challenge Air for Kids & Friends event at Centennial Airport. This charity event allowed children with special needs to fly an airplane! Epic had an aircraft on static display where students could sit in the cockpit.

Newport High School Students Visit Aircraft Mechanic School – CVG

We love welcoming visitors to campus! CVG Workforce brought this great group from Newport High School to our aircraft mechanic school and learn about training and careers.

Top Prop Award at CVG

Troy Brevik, a powerplant instructor at our CVG aircraft mechanic school, presented the Top Prop Award to Dalton Messer (pictured). Dalton finished with the highest combined scores on both the final exam and the course projects in his class.
