On Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, we presented our 9th Annual Aviation Scholarships! Judges reviewed more than 50 applications from 14 states and awarded $85,000 in scholarships this year. We are excited to welcome these outstanding students to the Epic family!

Epic Alumni News: Career Updates

Hearing from our graduates always brightens our day! Congratulations to Felipe Santana Areche from the Dominican Republic who is a flight instructor with Zoherga flying the Tecnam P92. He shared this update: “As CFI, the best thing that I can give to my students is all the knowledge I got in my short period of time at Epic. I try to imitate with them the clarity in the way of teaching that my flight instructors at Epic once had with me. CFI is right now my official job, but is not the only one. I’m also flying a private C-402 part-time.”

Also, congratulations to Emmanuel Lopez, a First Officer flying the B737 for Arajet! Emmanuel shared: “My experience at Epic was beyond great. To this day, training at Epic has been one of the most rewarding and fascinating experiences of my life. Huge thanks to all the flight instructors involved in my growth and development, as well as the dispatch and fuel team, student services, housing, management, and all the friends I had the opportunity to share a classroom with. I’m beyond grateful to be an Epic graduate, and I wish all the students going through training blue skies and tailwinds ahead. Thank you!”

Republic Airways Visits Pilots at EVB

Epic flight instructor Adrian Vinueza, who is also our Republic Airways ambassador, along with a Republic captain, talked about life at Republic and shared information about the cadet programs at a career seminar last month.
