Meet Our Newest Partner: Breeze Airways
Epic is proud to announce a new partnership with Breeze Airways. The agreement gives Epic pilots a hiring advantage. Qualified pilots will be invited to interview at 500 hours and secure a conditional job offer while building time toward the FAA minimum.
Joel Mitchell from Breeze Airways, said, “Breeze is proud to partner with Epic Flight Academy through our Breeze Embark Program. Epic does a fantastic job developing future aviation professionals. We are thrilled to have their help with our rapidly growing airline. Breeze offers an exceptional destination for aviators to fly nice planes to nice places.”
New Flight Students
Epic welcomed an energized group of flight students in June. All are well underway in their training and doing great. Welcome to Epic!
Aircraft Mechanic Milestones
Congratulations to aircraft mechanic students Michael Azarian and Luke Hartpence for passing on their first attempt both the FAA General Knowledge exam and the Airframe exam! They have excelled in their studies and are now working on the final phase in the program: Powerplant. We know they will continue to do outstanding work.
Air Wisconsin Career Seminar
Epic students had a great time at the Air Wisconsin Career Seminar last month. Air Wisconsin is hiring both pilots and aircraft mechanics, so Epic grads are in high demand.
Silver Airways Career Seminar
We also welcomed representatives from Silver Airways for a career seminar last month. With their headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, their pilots enjoy flying in the warmer climates.

Captain Judy’s Corner: NOTAMs
Captain Judy Rice’s latest article is about understanding and decoding NOTAMs, which are an important tool for pilots. When Captain Judy made her round-the-world trip, she relied on NOTAMs for safety, as she describes when flying from Hanoi to Hong Kong. Captain Judy is Epic’s ground school instructor.
