Troy Brevik is a retired Aviation Maintenance Chief Petty Officer with the United States Coast Guard and currently serves as the Site Manager for the UH-1N Huey program in Great Falls, Montana. With over 30 years of aviation maintenance experience, Troy brings a deep knowledge of aircraft operations, safety, and team leadership to every project. During his distinguished military career, Troy spent over two decades training and mentoring aviation maintenance personnel both in-flight and on the ground. He chaired enlisted flight examiner boards at Air Stations in Sitka and Kodiak, Alaska, where he played a key role in qualifying hundreds of aviation technicians.

Troy’s commitment to safety and excellence has earned him multiple honors, including two USCG Accommodation Medals, three Achievement Medals, and recognition as both the USCG and Alaska Enlisted Person of the Year in 2010. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Admiral James Gracey Award for Leadership. Beyond his technical expertise, Troy contributed to the 7th edition of the Essentials of Fire Fighting textbook, working in collaboration with Oklahoma State University and the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA). Now based in Kentucky, Troy values faith, family, and the outdoors. In his free time, he enjoys horseback riding in the backcountry and fishing on the water.
