Tony entered the USAF in 1979 at Langley AFB Virginia (TAC Command with state of the art F-15 Eagles). He discovered he was very mechanically inclined from being in the Component Repair Squadron jet engine shop. He began working at GE Aviation in 1984 and soon was working in the Development Assembly and Test area. In that function, he assembled gas propulsion powerplants for GE’s inventory. A lay-off sent him to the Norfolk Southern Railroad for 3 years and Procter and Gamble for 7, where he learned to weld and run a converter to make Pampers! He returned to GE Aviation for the development of the F-35 Lightning’s powerplant, which was axed by congress in the mid-2010 era. He got bored, so he started slinging freight for the Amazon Air Hub at CVG, went to FEAM, and wound up at Wheels Up Aviation from where he has come to work here at Epic in New Smyrna Beach. Tony has 2 great kids. Daughter Audrey works at Microsoft in the cyber security arena, and son Alex has a very successful sushi bar in Cincinnati called the Dancing Roll. As Tony says, “All is well in life, thanks be to God.”
