Kataleen Vargas was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. At a young age she encountered a female aviator, which sparked her interest in aviation, and there has been no looking back ever since. She is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Science with a minor studies in Air traffic management and Airline Operations. Kataleen hopes to continue to break the barriers faced by women and other minorities in the aviation community and is excited to train the next generation starting at Epic Flight Academy.
