Jerry Harvey grew up in the small coastal town of Sopchoppy, Florida, just south of Tallahassee. After graduating from high school, he attended Tallahassee State College before enlisting in the Florida National Guard. With 36 years of experience in both military and civilian aviation, Jerry has worked with a variety of fixed-wing and rotorcraft.
In addition to earning an Airframe and Powerplant Certification from Lively Technical College in 1989, Jerry holds a private pilot certificate and a 2-20 property and casualty insurance license. In his spare time, Jerry enjoys fishing, traveling, and cooking a wide range of cuisines, including barbecue, country-style dishes, and seafood.
