Javier Rodriguez was born in Caracas, Venezuela, but raised in Miami, Florida and he is fluent in both English and Spanish. His passion for aviation began at a young age. Growing up near Miami International Airport (KMIA), Javier spent countless weekends plane spotting with his dad on the arrival end of Runway 9, an experience that sparked a lifelong fascination with aviation.
Javier began his flight training in February 2023 at ADF Flight School in Tamiami Executive Airport (KTMB), where he started working toward his Private Pilot Certificate. Although he was unable to complete his training at that time. He later returned to the corporate world as a Freight Broker, specializing in international logistics and working closely with global produce clients in fast-paced, time-critical environments but he always wanted to keep pursuing his dream of flying.
In March 2025, Javier resumed his aviation journey at Epic Flight Academy (KEVB), where he earned his Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating and plans to complete his CFI and CFII training at Epic as well. Javier enjoys supporting and tutoring fellow Private Pilot and Instrument students. He aspires to pass on his passion for aviation to the next generation of pilots and help students build confidence, discipline, and a strong foundation for success.
