James grew up in the Central Florida area and always wanted to be either an airline pilot or police officer, and decided to become a police officer first. After nearly 10 years in law enforcement, and obtaining a bachelor’s degree, James decided to make the career change and get into aviation. After touring the Epic facilities, he picked Epic as the flight school due to the environment and resources. James did all of his flight training at Epic from his discovery flight all the way through CFI/CFII, and is excited to begin instructing at Epic to help others get into aviation and further their passion. Outside of flying, he enjoys golfing and being with friends/family.
